The Improbable Meeting between Marie Curie and Greta Thunberg
Bridging Centuries: A Dialogue of Science and Activism
On a clear, cool morning in Stockholm, Sweden, in a park near the Nobel Museum, a strange distortion in the air occurs. A flash of light appears, revealing a female figure wearing a long dress from the early 20th century. It’s Marie Curie, the eminent scientist and two-time Nobel laureate. At the same time, Greta Thunberg, the climate activist, is passing through the park on her way to a conference.
Chapter 1: The Unexpected Encounter
Greta immediately notices Marie’s unusual presence, dressed in an anachronistic manner. Curious and concerned, she approaches.
Greta: “Hello. Excuse me, but who are you?” Curie: “I am Marie Curie. I don’t know how I got here, but everything is quite different from what I know.” Greta, instantly recognizing the name, is stunned.
Greta: “Marie Curie? The famous scientist? But… you’re supposed to have died over a hundred years ago.” Marie smiles softly, fascinated by the passion in the young girl’s eyes.
Curie: “Time seems to play strange tricks. But you, who are you, and why are you so concerned for our world?”
